Bailey is legally a Gose now. The court date for the adoption was Feb 10th and the party for her was Feb 14. It was a nice party and the kids were so funny. I got a kick out of Bailey with her pretty dress and a fishing hat on, but she wouldn’t let me get a picture of it. Emma and Bailey had a blast playing together. It has been a while since they got to spend that much time together so it was a lot of fun for them. Sometimes the sharing got to be a little much though. They were sitting together on a chair, each had a piece of gum when Emma’s gum fell out of her mouth. I grabbed it before it tangled in her hair and while I was out throwing it away, I hear Bailey’s great grandma say “Oh.. NO! … Opps, too late!” Yep, Bailey was being sweet and shared her gum with Emma.. Yuck, but sooo funny!
Sean is growing and is a lot of fun too. He was so cute and sweet. I did learn though that you don’t call him a “pretty boy”… he doesn’t like it and will squeal at you if you do, he likes to be called a “manly boy!” So now he is Grandma’s manly boy.
Bailey spent the night with me on the night of the adoption. She had a good time and slept all night in the Castle. She told me she felt like a real princess… she is a real princess so that doesn’t surprise me. She had a good time with Grandpa, teasing him by taking the Barbie’s top off and he would cover his eyes and say “ohh no, I can’t see that!” She would laugh and tell him “but Grandpa, they aren’t real!” She really wasn’t sure she wanted to go home when Jarrod came to pick her up the next day. I am so glad that the kids like to stay here so much, I just wish they didn’t get so upset about going home. It is normal when they are having fun not wanting to stop though, besides, here at Grandma’s they usually have undivided attention.
I am so lucky to have the 3 most perfect grandchildren around! I love them all lots and lots and lots.
