Well little Sean, seems you are doing things at your own pace and that is good. Your mommy is in labor with you as we speak and I am so excited and can’t wait to meet you. Now if you wait until tomorrow, I will be there to help greet you into this world… well at the hospital anyway… but don’t wait on my account ok? You are my first grandson and I know we will have loads of fun together over the years. I can’t wait until I can hold you in my arms!
Now when you are older and you read this, you may not get the jest of it, but I have to laugh at your mommy, she is at the hospital and in labor and posting on Face book (a social network). Of course when you get older, you will have so much more cooler things then Face book and My Space. When your daddy was born there wasn’t much out there, no one had home computers or even cordless phones let alone cell phones that you can access the internet with like a computer! Yes, it will seem that he is from the olden, olden days and then you will hear stories of how when I was young we didn’t even have VCR’s or home movies that had sound! Yes, we are all ancient but not as much as my grandparents who grew up not always having indoor plumbing and running water! Time will go fast and you will be crawling and walking and talking in no time, but right now I want to enjoy every moment I can with you and watching you grow into a fine young man. I love you, little Sean, I love you more then you could ever know. Have a safe birth, baby, and I thank God for the gift of you, my first grandson.
